Virtual Tennis tournament ...a tough battle!

Surprisingly with all new faces entering this virtual tennis 3 tournament on Playstation 3 at Wiredup there was quite a crowd interested in who would win this. With Danish leading from the beginning it was no surprise he beat Yousef 2-0 in the finals. Brilliant game by Danish and Yousef...congrats to all the winners. 

Farrukh wins the Pro-Evolution Soccer Tournament at Wiredup!

Dozens of players entered to compete for the Djuice LAN CLAN Pro-evolution Soccer 2009 champions title in March on PlayStation 3. Farrukh won the champions title with Faizaan, Farhan, Hasan and Ibrahim as runner-up. FM103 provided live coverage of the event on Mar 22.

More than a 1050 gamers participated in the LAN CLAN Karachi Championship Qualifying rounds across 14 gaming zones in Karachi. The finals were held on Feb 21,22. DOTA(S3x, FD), COD4(De Saints, [hat]), C&C(Salu, Ismail), Warcraft (Zohaib-Authority, Sharjeel), CS(Incredibles, XG), NFS(Fozan, Danish)

Djuice LAN CLAN City Championship ends in Lahore

The Lahore City Championship organized by Wiredup and sponsored by Djuice came to an end on Feb 1st, 2009 with the following winners and runners-up

Counter Strike - Winner : HEAT; Runnerup: IMMORTALZ

DOTA: Winner: ASK CLAN; runnerup: LUMS

Djuice LAN CLAN City Championship ends in Isld/Pindi and Hyderabad

Djuice launched its “LAN CLAN City Championship League” from 2 cities Isld/Pindi and Hyderabad starting Dec 5th featuring 7 PC games. Wiredup was the main organizer working with partnering gaming zones in the cities to organize the league. The champions for the league won PS/2's and MP4 players and most of them got a seat in the National Champonship to be held in Karachi in April. For the first time such enthusiasm was seen among the gamers who came in large numbers to participate in the qualifiers for the league as well as the championship held in F8 Markaz.

FIFA08 tournament at Wiredup

FIFA08 is something of a regular at Wiredup Gaming, Karachi featuring a number of previous events on both Personal Computers and Sony PlayStation 3,  but thanks this time to Djuice “LAN CLAN” for sponsoring november’s FIFA08 competition on PC (1 vs 1) with IPODS and USB’s associated as prizes for the winners. Gamers enjoy this sport of gentlemen, without ever having to wear football boots or shinpads – unless the action gets a little heated of course. And that is what it was, “heated” this cold winter weekend at Wiredup.

Twenty four players got into the action starting Saturday Nov 22 evening when Pool A and Pool B each containing 6 players played the single 1vs1 challenge. The night dragged on with the top players showing their best talents and giving the competitor a tough fight. Next day (Sunday) started off with two more pools (Pool C and D) of 6 players each concluding with the super 10, super5, semi’s and finals.

Waleed who is also the WCG2008 champion this year from Pakistan won the final with highest points (10) and winning all games against competitors except a draw. Ali was the runner-up scoring 9 points. Magsi who was the spectator’s favorite and kept the play and spectators energized till the end scored 4 points and was defeated 2 games to 1 and 1 draw in the super 5. Tactics such as quick play were frequently used by some players which put them on the pitch immediately where they could play around with the ball, taking free kicks, penalties or even in some cases shooting from 30 meters out.

Incredibles wins WCG 2008 Pakistan Title for Counter Strike

which won the title for Counter Strike 1.6 at the World Cyber Games 2008 Pakistan & ESWC 2008 Paistan represented Pakistan in Cologne, Germany to play against 72 countries.

Electronic Sports World Cup 2008 Pakistan sponsored by Djuice

ESWC 2008 Pakistan was sponsored by Telenor "Djuice" brand. Wiredup holds the license for the ESWC Pakistan and organized the event at various partnering gaming cafes with National Finals in June 2008 at the EXPO Center in Karachi. The event was largely attended by gamers and their fans. Winners were as follows:

• Counter Strike 1.6 - Team Incredidbles
• DOTA - S3X

The winning DOTA team S3X represented Pakistan in San Jose, CA, USA where the Grand Finals were held with more than 40 countries. Pakistan was ranked #9 in this sport.

 Stay tuned for the first ever Pakistan Gaming Championship, the upcoming "DJUICE NATIONAL GAMING CHAMPIONSHIP" in Aug at EXPO Center Karachi.
